If you've been writing and dealing with agents, editors and publishing houses for a while, our process might surprise you. We do things a little differently, so please read this page entirely before you submit your application.
Failure to submit your application correctly might result in us never getting back to you.
A Joint Venture
We're looking for partners, not clients. We are not a vanity press, and we don't charge our authors to print their books. We make our money when you do -- after your book starts selling. We've created a publishing model we believe will benefit both author and publisher, but it requires effort on both sides.
Your Job
- Write a work of fiction. (sorry, we don't publish poetry or non-fiction)
- Refine, rewrite, edit, polish, proof-read and otherwise make your work awesome.
- Send us the finished product.
- Sell your book to everyone you know!
Our Job
- Double-check your work to make sure it's print-ready.*
- Design a cover that suits your genre.
- Layout your interior.
- Purchase your ISBN and barcode and handle the paperwork.
- Make your book available on our distribution network.
